We have developed a high-performance degassing device that supplies a solvent, free of stable dissolved oxygen and without significant vacuum fluctuations, to a delivery pump. The combination of a pulse motor and our proprietary control software, along with a self-cleaning mechanism for atmospheric introduction during device operation, has achieved a long lifespan for the vacuum pump. The permeable membrane of the degassing module uses high-performance Teflon AF (amorphous fluoropolymer), which has excellent air permeability. Therefore, even with a low volume (480 microL), our vacuum pump's performance allows for a wide range of applications from micro-delivery to semi-preparative processes. In terms of OEM support, during maintenance, the status and inspection of each point can be confirmed via an LCD display, and experiments will not be interrupted even during analysis. The control board performs various safety management tasks, such as monitoring the vacuum state inside the chamber and confirming the operation of the pump with a vacuum sensor. Additionally, by connecting an LCD display board, the current vacuum value can be checked. The device's condition can be verified in functional test mode, allowing for maintenance checks and the creation of a history (dedicated mark sheet) without stopping the analytical device.
